Amazon said it won't fit, I didn't see that until already ordered but you can see in the pic the top and bottom is flush but the middle sticks out just a hair. I took the little rubber gasket off the switch and shaved a little off the sides of the dash hole, now it's flush.And as others said, you may wire it different than described. I spliced from factory winch connector to give me power on, winch in, winch out. Then of course you need a ground and I used one of their jumper wires to connect the upper and lower light portion together then spliced them with the illumination wire on my headlight switch (right beside it) so when key turns over the whole thing lights up. Didn't even use the "ignition" postI let the winch all the way out and had a friend try to keep it from cranking in while I pulled it all the way in, he failed. It works just fine and its nice to have control right there in arms reach. My factory remote has 20 foot of cable that I never even un-zip-tied, that's just a pain to deal with BUT I will store the factory under my hood in case something ever goes wrong with the switch

The way that the instructions show you how to wire it up for a winch It will not work. The switch is not rated for the current. There is another review That tells you how to wire it up Where the LEDS are on And The switch is wired properly to control the winch. Other than that it's a good looking switch And we will see how long it lasts.

I installed this switch in the overhead console of my JD tractor. I wired it to a linear actuator toposition the discharge shut on my snowblower. It works great!

The media could not be loaded.  put in place as a secondary switch so i dont have to take out the winch controller cord. works like a xharm
