For the money this is a good setup. You could possibly save a little money by piecing the individual parts together if you shop around but this set is good to go in 1 box. Mount it to the vehicle or put the hitch on a vise and tighten the ball to it via the nut.The welds look sufficient and not any worse than other hitches I've seen in various stores. The bent plate for the ball is ever so slightly angled but doesn't change the hookup of the trailer coupler.I think it's a worthwhile setup and the value is there.

I'll start by saying I don't plan to do a whole lot of towing, but this was a great addon accessory for my truck! Very solid but does have a little play with the hitch so I paired it with a hitch tightener. Jumped on it and it did not budge at all! Took just a few minutes to install. I'll be honest, I also got it to protect my rear bumper in the event someone hits me head-on from the back. Has happened before sadly but can't be helped sometimes. Good towing specs and apparently comes with a couple years of warranty which is always good to have with any product! Nice to know the company supports its products! Overall, I'm happy with it! Would recommend!

Is it equally safe to mount ball on the other side to raise tongue height? I think it is, weld looks good enough, but maybe there are some engineering requirements for it to be positioned with ball hole below receiver. I doubt it, but wonder if anyone knows different.

Recently started putting together all of the things needed for hunting/camping/fishing expeditions in the Vast Rocky Mountains and having a good hitch to pull a trailer is essential, this is everything you'd expect of a 2 in hitch and ball.(If you're not sure what to get, get help, don't guess !)

So the description does not really let you know that this hitch *is* rated to be flipped over to give a slight rise (3/4") as well as the advertised 2" drop! Yes, if you pay attention to the pictures you can see this, however, we all know that sometimes the pictures do not really go with items here, right? ;) This was very easy to put together, just slide the ball into the hitch and tighten it with a wrench. The hitch is very sturdy and well made. I am extremely happy with this.

I got this for my 2009 Ford f-150 xl super crew cab truck. It was easy to put together. Slid easily into the truck mounting tube. Took about five minutes to put together and install. Works like a charm. Sturdy and solid with strong welds. Can tow up to 7,500 lbs. Pulled my trailer with my sons' massive Matco tool box filled with mechanic tools. It's a great value for the price!

I’m using a hitch with a 2” rise, but needed one with a 2”drop, instead of undoing mine, I decided to get a new one.This hitch is solid, very durable, good quality.The finish on it is well done, no blemishes.Came with the standard 2” ball, and pin clip, although I use my own locking pin.Highly recommend.

I ordered this for our truck since the current one was in bad shape. That said, this was delivered as described and fit without any issue. I'm pleased with it and recommend it.

Very pleased with this order. Good sturdy build and everything fits together well and slides perfectly into my Yukon’s 2 inch receiver. I like that the design allows for a 2 inch drop or rise. The receiver pin also aligns perfectly (unlike another brand I bought a while back. Very happy with this!

The hitch fit perfectly in the mount of 2016 Jeep Rubicon. It was extremely easy to install and I had no issues towing a trailer full of mulch. I highly recommend this Nilight Trailer Hitch.
