First off I never review anything but I wasn’t sure about this product and I had a lot of questions before I started:I gave it 4 stars because you can get true white, but that isn’t uncommon with lights at a good value. So if you want true white this won’t workI placed the main module under the passenger side battery, I needed two extensions to get my rear drivers side tire well light to reach. The light I mounted center I used a 10 ft extension as well, but I ran it to the drivers side the crossed over the engine, if you run it to the passenger side you may not need one. For length reference I have a F-250 super crew with a short bed.I only used 5 lights, one in each tire well and one center underneath. The lumens are good and I like how it looks.I used the app to pick my final color but I wired them to Aux 1 on my truck. Now the switch will turn it off and on and I don’t use the app anymore. If you want the lights on with the truck off you need to use Aux 5 or 6. Google it, there are plenty of videos about how to make it work.I didn’t use an in-line fuse since the Aux switches Ford provides already have them. If you are not using a switch you should use an in-line fuse.I was a bit concerned with the nut and bolt system without any washers, so I went and got some of my own washers from Tractor Supply and also gorilla glued each light. The lights look like they can take some rocks, they aren’t plastic so I was happy about that. The light I mounted in the center I used gorilla glue and heavy duty zip ties since I didn’t want to drill into the frame. I added an additional zip tie on the wire next to the light so if the gorilla glue and zip ties on the light fails I won’t lose the light itself and I’ll find a better solution.Overall, no problems, it took about 3 to 4 hours. I would recommend this product to others, as long as they are not looking for a true white light.
