Gooditem for my car

Have had the chance to mount them to a vehicle. But the connections are pre made. Only a positive and negative connection to the light harness is all you need.I supplied a 12v power source to one light in my shop.Pitch black dark when this light was turned on. Pretty dang bright.

I'm not one to write reviews but I'm extremely happy with these lights. Low beam works good clean pattern and a good light cutoff so you don't blind traffic. High beam is super bright and there's no blind spots. If these things keep water out of the lens they'll be amazing, but only time will tell. I took the lens off and looked at the o ring seal and it looks like it'll work good.

The lights look good, are bright as hell, have an okay wiring harness, and seem to be made reasonably well.Quick review,They are not on the level of Hella or ARB but they do the same job for a 1/10 the price.Good: bright, easy to install, low amp draw.Bad: the pigtails on the lights themselves are ridiculously long, I would much rather have the plug made into the housing as that would make hiding the wiring easier. I would have lode to have a modular harness as I have had to cut out a lot of unused bits and wire in my own switches and power supply as the switches they came with are very generic.At the time of writing one of my lights has developed a leak after only two weeks, I am being sent a warranty replacement already. If I don't update this review then everything went well with the replacement.Overall I would but them again for a personal vehicle, but I wouldn't recommend them to any of my customers outside of being mounted on trail rigs or for lights on heavy equipment. 3.8/5

There's a lot to like about these lights, the rugged heatsink light castings, wiring harnesses, mounting bracket and hardware all look and feel up the the task. I like the switching options they allow you to use low or high beams or both simultaneously.The low beams have wide flood light pattern with a distinct horizontal cutoff. The high beams come in mostly above the low beams cutoff line and are right down the center, both low and high beams are plenty bright.I'm happy with and would recommend these lights.I be using these lights on a tractor.

I have used nilight products for years and never had an issue. The lights are very well built and can easily with stand the punishment of off roading. I really like how easy nilight products are to install. The wire harness that is provided is dummy proof and can be installed by somebody with very little knowledge of how to do so. The lights themselves are very sound and produce a strong beam of light. The controller switch is very easy to use and also to install. The switch has two buttons that control the two available functions of the light and they can be turned on simultaneously. Overall a great light that will last you a lifetime.

Nilight stepping up their game recently. These have good construction and functionality. Good brightness and spread. Would recommend.

Short version: for the price, the quality, and the output of these lights, they are a fantastic option.Long version: These are very well constructed lights, the housing is a heavy cast alloy, which is durable and offers good cooling capability which is important on high output lighting. The lenses are thick polycarb, which will stand up to most abuse that you could throw at them, but does have a tendency to scratch easily, as all poly lenses do. The wiring leads are well sealed via a grommet where it passes through the housing, short of total submersion, I don't see them letting water in. The connectors are near OEM quality and offer waterproofing via o-rings & individual grommets per wire.The light output is above what one would expect for this price range. They are right in the middle as far as the light pattern is concerned, i.e. they don't throw super wide like fog lights, but they're not a narrow beam like a hyper spot. Despite the item details, I would not recommend using these on-road even on the "low beam" mode as there is too much opportunity to blind oncoming traffic, which is obviously hazardous. If you do want to use them as driving lights, PLEASE ensure they're aimed properly. Personally, I only use them in scenarios where I am comfortable using my high beams, and would recommend you do the same.Shortcomings: The included wiring harness is pretty typical of Amazon lights, though it does have the mating Deutsch connector, so that's nice. The fuse and relay are both generic, and the base for the relay is not weatherproofed well. I seal all my bases with 100% silicone sealant because I live in Michigan and the salt destroys everything. The included switch is a touch chintzy, but it will do the job for the time being.
